Slow Food San Diego Annual Natale Dinner
Sunday 12/22/13
Bistro West
4960 Avenida Encinas
Carlsbad, CA 92008
Bistro West agreed to partner with us to add a special twist to this event by inviting and celebrating local farmers and fisherman that supply their two venues in North County. They invite their purveyors and we honored and thank these individuals and small businesses for the wonderful contribution their work brings to our community.
The Executive Chef’s from Bistro West and West Steak and Seafood
Jason Connolly and Eugenio Martignago, joined us to introduce their local purveyors and the foods from these local sources. Their own full time farmer was available to describe the restaurant’s own farm and shared his passion for farming and good food.
The event included a 5- course dinner with wine and spirit pairings.

1st course: Estate Wines – North Sauvignon Blanc – South Coast 2012
